Welby has established the Oncology PHR Consortium, and is currently working on a project to realize patient-centered cancer treatment and improve treatment outcomes by creating a registry of clinical data collected in PHRs with the consent of patients, where cancer patients enter their symptoms and emotion via PHR applications, in collaboration with medical institutions participating in the consortium, mainly cancer treatment base hospitals.
